Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Network Engineer to oversee and maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network.

This is a new role, working closely with the Vice President of Technology.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fully support, document, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate networks and in house servers, as well as connectivity to cloud-based applications
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Manage and implement needed updates
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Ensure network adherence to governance, security and connectivity standards and service levels
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Resolve problems reported by end users
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions
  • Research, make recommendations and implement server system changes as required
Qualifications:  
  • Extensive experience in a Windows network administrator role, including network segmentation and the support of remote offices
  • Demonstrated experience rolling out Active Directory
  • Expert in Terminal Services, VMware or Hypervisor
  • Relevant experience in Group Policy management (Profile and Application deployment) and windows scripting
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
  • Experience in two factor single sign-on rollout (particularly through G-Suite)
  • Experience documenting networks
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Familiarity with governance standards such as HIPAA HITRUST and PCI DSS is a huge plus
  • Certified in: MCSA, MCSP, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, CCNP is a plus
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
 
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  A current CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required. Some travel will be required.
