Job Description

Respected national healthcare company seeking a Cloudera Specialist to monitor and keep their current environment active. No new development will be required. 

This is a 6-month contract position, must have prior experience with Cloudera, Spark, Hive, Kudu and Impala. 
 
Required Skill Set:

  • Experienced with Cloudera, Spark, Hive, Kudu, Impala
  • Experienced in fixing Cloudera configuration issues
  • Experienced in Cloudera migration work
  • Familiarity with networking
 Other Preferred Skills:
  • Unix/Linux administration experience
  • Cloudera experience (at a minimum candidate should have experience with Apache tools)- Spark and Kudu used
  • Jenkins experience (or similar automation/scheduling tool)
  • Preferred/would be helpful -BI tools experience such as Tableau, Cognos, SSRS/SSAS, OBIEE (Tableau preferred)
  • Strong SQL tuning skills (specifically with Oracle RDBMS)
  • Experience with dimensional design and best practices
  • ETL experience
