Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join their team. They are early adopters and love using the latest tech.

This position is a direct hire opportunity in the Sacramento, CA area.

The Developer will have an opportunity to work on Ruby on Rails, MySQL, React, React Native, Redux, Ionic 2+, Angular 2+, RxJs, and NgRx. The Developer will utilize Scrum to burn through a user-driven backlog with bi-weekly deployments.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work/training experience

·         Two or more years of related work experience

·         Passion for solving complex problems

·         Good UX/design sensibilities and strong knowledge of HTML and CSS

·         Know your way around JavaScript, but don't have to be an expert

·         Passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code

·         Have an eye for well-factored code and adhere to best-practices

·         Experience with Ruby on Rails

·         Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL

·         Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Redux, RxJs, etc.)

·         Experience with TypeScript

·         Proficiency with RSpec, Jest, or other testing framework

·         Experience with Scrum methodology
