SUMMARY Ledgent Technology has partnered with a North County company in need of a Java Developer. As a member of the software development team the Java Developer will design, develop, maintain, and support the software products.
Qualified candidates must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This company does not sponsor or transfer H1-visa individuals
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will assume a prominent role as a designer, developer, and mentor for the development of web applications
Conducts analysis of moderate to complicated complexity of programming problems
Creates design and functional specifications.
Provides interpretation of system design and objectives.
Converts the final interpretation of design and functional specifications into the appropriate programming language.
Tests and integrates new code into the existing software base.
Performs debugging of programs and routines.
Conducts unit tests on sub-system modules.
Assists with final system integration testing, software QA testing, and customer acceptance testing.
Creates the documentation necessary to support new and existing software applications.
Provides status on project activities to lead staff and management.

Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or equivalent work related experience
3+ years of Java programming experience with a focus on web and mobile application technologies.
Fluent and knowledgeable in several of the following languages/platforms/libraries: Java (Spring, Swing, etc), SQL, Sybase
Experience in one of the development frameworks: MVC, MVVM
