We are searching for a Quality Assurance Software Engineering Manager to join our team in the North County area of San Diego, CA! 

The SW QA Eng. Mgr. will analyze and test our industry-leading software systems, help define QA testing strategy, review requirements and specifications, design test cases, and perform QA tests throughout the entire software lifecycle. 

Responsibilities 


* Safeguard and maintain the quality of our products and solutions 
* Create test plans and test cases 
* Generate well documented bug reports for each test result 
* Communicate effectively with software and hardware engineers to obtain appropriate information for test scenarios and report your findings 
* Plan and perform functional, load, and performance testing 
* Provide valuable inputs when reviewing requirement documents and technical specifications 

Requirements 


* Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science 
* 2+ years of hand on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing processes 
* Familiar with agile process, quality estimate, QA testing process and tools 
* Proficiency with HTTP, SQL, and at least one scripting language 
* Ability to work on multiple platforms (Windows and Linux) 
* Familiar with at least programming language such as, Java, C/C++, C#, or Perl 
* Strong written and verbal communication skills 
* Performance testing and pressure testing 
* Basic IT System administration experience 
* Passion for correctness and efficiency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment 
* An understanding of analytics 
* Ability to learn quickly and work independently
