Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst Individual with the understanding of complex data sources; development of meaningful reports; and application of results to improve business decisions. The analyst should have proficiency with analytical tools (SQL, Web Intelligence, Lumira or similar business intelligence (BI) software, Excel, Access), knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service.


  • Create company wide and ad hoc reports in support of business requirements
  • Convert ideas and business needs into meaningful report designs and data requirements
  • Customer level reporting with predictive analytics applications
  • Works with different business units to understand reporting needs; translate business needs into relatable reporting
  • Create and maintain Business Intelligence Dashboards, ScoreCards, Key Performance Indicators and reports for all business units
  • Extract and transform data from various data sources in support of business requirements
  • Proactively manage report development to meet expectations of format and delivery timeframe
  • Streamline and automate existing reporting, liaison with outside developers, special projects as needed
  • Develop strong knowledge of how our company operates, including how we sell and compensate our sales team
  • Work with ICT Data warehouse team to maintain business rules
  • Product category/subcategory/collection level reporting
  • Develop and implement BI solutions that support the monitoring of data quality and integrity
  • Troubleshoot the functionality and accuracy of existing daily reports to ensure accuracy
  • Retiring legacy reporting and relieving staff of reporting effort

Job Requirements

Skills Required:
-Experience designing and developing dashboards and reporting metrics using business intelligence software like Web Intelligence, Cognos, Lumira, Business Objects or Tableau
-Experience supporting operations, as well as Marketing & Sales groups.
-Able to write queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data to achieve desired results using select statements, sub-queries, functions, links of multiple tables, scripting, etc
