Ledgent Technology is working with an organization that develops and implements innovative digital gaming & aggregate systems. We are seeking a Java Developer to join their team & drive the development of new software applications!
Qualified candidates must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This company does not sponsor or transfer H1-visa individuals
JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated and have a strong desire for accuracy with details, and willing to roll up their sleeves to work hard. This individual will be required to analyze and implement web and mobile software applications based on requirements. You will also aid QA staff to identify and resolve problems in support of an Agile programming methodology.
 
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires either a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or equivalent education, technical classes, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience.
  • You must have intermediate-level knowledge of Java and SQL
  • Knowledge of several of the following languages/platforms/libraries: Java (Spring, Swing, etc.), SQL
  • Experience in one of the development frameworks: MVC, MVVM
  • Experience in developing API's utilizing XML/JSON business object representation and REST architecture
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development, Android development, C++ and Web programming a plus
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Able to read and comprehend technical documentation
  • Must be able to legally work in the US
  • Ability and willingness to travel for customer site installations and support when needed (normal trips range from 1 to 3 weeks however, on occasion, trips may be longer)
