Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our client with the below background.

Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Fremont, CA

Role and responsibilities:

  • Implementing new process for manufacturing during the build cycle
  • Background with high complex, low volume manufacturing
  • IT equipment manufacturing is a good plus along with semiconductor experience
  • Portions of the assembly are customer configured, this person needs to implement new process in the assembly
  • Goal is to have improved tooling, converting process to a line flow
  • Modifying the process - Old process was learned all parts before its produced, New process is parts are learned one by one
  • Exp. In cleanroom is preferred
  • Skills in building the process from ground up
  • Six Sigma Lean is preferred
  • Tools: Assembly large equipment, troubleshoot & maintain
  • Looking for an individual who can roll up sleeves and work will all teams from the floor production to engineering team
  • Experience working of Etch and Surface Cleaning

Job Requirements

Skills Required:
5+ years of experience in Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
Possesses effective leadership qualities.
Good coordination skills to work with various departments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve.
Thorough knowledge about the methods and techniques of manufacturing.
Well organized and attention to details.

- Experience working of Etching and Surface Cleaning

- IT equipment manufacturing is a good plus along with semiconductor experience
Skills in building the process from ground up
- Tools: Assembly large equipment, troubleshoot & maintain

Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements:
Successful completion of required Safety training.
Ensure equipment and machines are maintained in safe operating condition.
Report to the Safety Officer any unsafe or unhealthy condition which cannot be corrected.
Follow all safety and health regulations and work practices, including personal protective equipment where applicable.
