Job Description

Ledgent Technology is working with an organization in North County seeking a Desktop Support Technician! Ideal candidates will have experience performing Microsoft/Windows software & hardware trouble-shooting in a networked environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, efficient and possess excellent communication skills!

Overview:
The Desktop Support Technician will respond to service requests regarding network connectivity and software application & hardware problems and, perform in-person duties such as new-hire set-up, mobile device trouble-shooting, general office equipment/peripheral support and vendor management

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of technical support experience
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP & related network protocols
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting MS Office Suite & related programs/applications
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Previous experience using a ticketing system, performing end-user support over the phone as well as in-person
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment and interacting with management/vendors etc.¬†
