The Mgr, HED Information Systems and Technology is responsible for directing the HED IT Department in the developing, sourcing, implementing, and monitoring of all HED technology, systems, and communications infrastructure. This role Collaborates with Client IT team members and third party vendors to coordinate fixes, patches, and updates.
Displays outstanding leadership skills; provides coaching, guidance and development advice to a staff of approximately three (4) direct reports
Maintains Web environment by identifying system issues, fixes, and requirements
Manages the HEDStore.com front and back ends by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning
Troubleshoots system hardware, software, as well as operating and system management systems
Designs and runs system and application load/stress testing, and escalates problems to vendors
Secures Web system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups and patches; maintaining documentation
Upgrades Web system by conferring with vendors client's IT Services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software
Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Must possess approximately 8-10 years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of Web Application development
BA/BS Degree preferred (Computer related field)
Certifications in IT related Field preferred
Must be well versed in B2B E-Commerce solutions, ERP applications, specifically, Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains Software)
Must be well versed in system and security monitoring, as well as online tracking tools like McAfee, IP Monitor, Google Analytics, etc.
Must be proficient in Web 2.0 HTML, JAVA, Adobe Creative Suite, and user interface design/development and versed in SQL
Must have exposure to Merchant Services, specifically, PayPal, and be versed in PCI and SOX compliance and have exposure to networks fundamentals, having a fair idea about hardware, firewalls, load balancers, storage devices, etc.
Must have exposure to Unix and Windows environments Virtualization technologies like Parallels, VMware, Xen, etc.
Must have strong work ethics and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information
