Laboratory Coordinator

Duration - 6 Months, Contract, W-2

Location - Onsite in Irvine, CA

Pay - $25.10/hr

Performs media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records for microbiology testing (environmental monitoring, water testing, bioburden, sterility, and more).

Responsibilities:

* Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies

* Assist in preparing test supplies

* Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc)

* Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork

* Verify and change temperature charts on lab equipment on a routine basis

* Enter test results into MS Excel to create trend charts

* Distribute cleaning logs to appropriate manufacturing areas

Additional Skills:

* High School Diploma

* Basic knowledge of laboratory processes

* Labware LIMS experience preferred

* Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage

* Basic computer skills, required

* Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills

* Knowledge of and adherence to EHSQ guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing

* Strict attention to detail

* Ability to work with own team environment
