Data Analyst -Hybrid - Central MN

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Salary Range: $90,000-115,000 target

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead key data initiatives focused on credit risk and fraud prevention. You'll analyze borrower behavior, assess portfolio risk, and support strategic decisions with data-driven insights. If you're skilled at navigating large datasets and enjoy making an impact through analytics, this role is for you.

Candidates must be based in Minnesota. Candidates must also be eligible to work without sponsorship both now and in the future. No third parties.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data projects - Gather, clean, and structure large datasets to build models that reduce credit and fraud risks.
  • Assess risk exposure - Monitor credit trends and evaluate loan portfolio risk.
  • Create reports and dashboards - Develop and maintain analytics tools using Tableau, SAS, Excel, and SQL.
  • Build predictive models - Use statistical methods to support proactive business decisions.
  • Collaborate across teams - Partner with business units and underwriting to translate insights into action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, handling large and complex datasets
  • Experience in credit risk, fraud prevention, and/or consumer lending analytics
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to business audiences

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related discipline
  • Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, or Hive
  • Experience in the financial or banking sector, especially in credit risk
