Job Title: Test Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract to Hire
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement test plans for new and existing products.
* Design and build test fixtures and setups.
* Operate and maintain automated test equipment such as Chroma, Visual Studio, and Teledyne.
* Perform PCB design and layout for test fixtures.
* Conduct tests and analyse results to ensure product performance and reliability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and test processes.
* Document test procedures, results, and findings.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in product testing and test engineering.
* strong background in automated test equipment and PCB design.
* Proficiency with automated test equipment such as Chroma, Visual Studio, and Teledyne.
* Experience in PCB design and layout.
* Knowledge of EMI filters and LabVIEW.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with other test equipment and software tools.
* Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
