Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager for a remote, 6+ month project. The position involves providing project management duties for a Wellbeing Works Better & Health Equity In the Workforce team. This position is W2 hourly with our company and has the possibility to be extended or convert to direct hire with our client.

The work hours are 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

Contract Timeline: January 6, 2025 - June 30, 2025

1. Project Planning and Initiation:

o Develop a detailed project plan outlining project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget.

o Conduct a kickoff meeting to align stakeholders and project team.

o Create a project charter to define the project and obtain formal approval.

2. Timeline and Schedule Management:

o Create and maintain a project timeline using tools such as Gantt charts to track milestones and deliverables.

o Regularly update the project schedule and ensure all tasks are on track.

o Identify critical path activities and manage dependencies to ensure timely project completion.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

o Identify and engage key stakeholders, including community organizations, healthcare providers, and American Heart Association management.

o Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders through meetings, reports, and updates.

o Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

4. Resource Management:

o Identify and allocate necessary resources, including project team members, budget, and equipment.

o Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed to maintain project efficiency.

5. Risk Management:

o Conduct a risk assessment to identify potential project risks.

o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

o Regularly monitor and update the risk management plan to address emerging risks.

6. Quality Assurance:

o Establish quality standards for project deliverables.

o Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards.

o Address quality issues promptly to maintain project integrity.

7. Communication and Reporting:

o Develop a communication plan to ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders and the project team.

o Provide regular status updates, including weekly team meetings, bi-weekly stakeholder updates, and monthly progress reports to American Heart Association management.

o Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and reports.

o Prepare a final project report detailing outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future projects.

Deliverables:

1. Project Plan: Comprehensive plan detailing objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget.

2. Gantt Chart: Visual representation of the project schedule, including tasks, milestones, and dependencies.

3. Stakeholder Engagement Plan: Strategy for engaging and communicating with stakeholders.

4. Risk Management Plan: Document outlining identified risks and mitigation strategies.

5. Quality Assurance Plan: Standards and procedures for ensuring project deliverable quality.

6. Communication Plan: Plan for regular communication and reporting.

7. Final Project Report: Detailed report on project outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations.
