Escrow Assistant
Duration - 3 Months, Contract, W2
Location -Walnut Creek, CA
Pay - $20.97/hr
Join our team as an Escrow Assistant, where you'll play a key role in supporting successful real estate transactions, including residential resales, new construction, refinancing, relocation, and timeshare closings. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and clear, proactive communication to all parties involved, ensuring a smooth and efficient closing process.
Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive escrow services for a variety of real estate transactions, including residential, resale, new construction, refinance, relocation, and timeshare closings.
* Serve as a primary point of contact, facilitating communication between buyers, sellers, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the closing process.
* Ensure all transaction documentation is accurate, compliant, and timely.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and uphold compliance standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Associate's degree & 1-2 years of experience in escrow, lending, or real estate
* Proficiency in MS Outlook, clerical skills, and experience with general office equipment. Typing speed of 50+ WPM
* Familiarity with escrow, banking, and accounting processes is a plus
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service and problem resolution
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
