Position Summary: The Enterprise Finance, Risk & Actuarial Transformation Office is seeking a Business Process Analyst to formulate and write business requirements as part of an enterprise-wide finance transformation project.
This position will focus on end to end financial reporting process design from transactional accounting, consolidations through management reporting functions.
Responsibilities:
* Interpret verbalized and written business process narratives and documents and transcribe them into business user needs and expectations from the system.
* Document these needs and expectations and write them into a series of system outcomes and process owner requirements.
* Capture from process discussions information to create future state flowcharts that will describe business process including controls, steps and procedures.
* Compile and formalize requirements into comprehensive Business Requirements documents.
* Support fit/gap analysis and solution design in partnership with technology.
* Update and maintain business requirements traceability matrix.
Factors for Success
* At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or Technical Writing.
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* 5 or more years of experience in documenting complex business systems, preferably with accounting or financial applications
* Understanding of systems integrations, controls, and data governance processes
* Experience working in a large corporate environment with complex organization structures
* Ability to work independently on assignments
* Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM applications very helpful.
