Position: IT Support Technician

Location: Anoka, MN (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr

Duration: Ongoing Contract Position

Company: Ledgent Technology is actively seeking a motivated, entry-level IT professional to join our team for an ongoing contract position in Anoka, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 6 months of production experience to expand their IT skill set in a dynamic and hands-on environment.

Job Overview:

As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting multiple IT projects, including configuring devices, managing inventory, and providing technical support to field technicians. This position offers hands-on experience in areas such as hardware configuration, warehouse operations, and internal IT support. You'll be working closely with our team while gaining new skills and knowledge across a variety of technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure tablets (iPad & Samsung) and image PCs.
• Provide remote technical support over the phone to 3rd party technicians installing emergency phones and access points.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including counting inventory, pulling parts, shrink-wrapping pallets, and organizing stock.
• Configure and troubleshoot VoIP phones.
• Aid the shipping and receiving department in prepping boxes and checking in returned equipment.
• Pick orders for shipping and ensure proper packaging of equipment.
• Support internal IT needs for coworkers.
• Configure circuit boards using a butt set.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Team collaboration: Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Willingness to learn: Open to learning new technologies and taking on new responsibilities as projects evolve.
• Excellent communication skills: Both verbal and written communication are crucial for providing effective remote support and collaborating with team members.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience with VoIP systems.
• Previous help desk or technical support experience.
