Job Description

The Revit Architectural Drafter is primarily responsible for producing residential construction blueprints for both new and existing plans, elevations, and options.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Revit: New Plans and Elevations

Produce and document residential construction blueprints for plans, elevations, and options to meet daily deadlines.
Analyze and submit new plan, elevation, and option drawings to the Vice President of Production.
Produce a Bill of Materials used to estimate material takeoffs.
Liaise with the Estimating Department to ensure alignment of estimating and production best practices.
Revit: Existing Plans

Revise residential construction blueprints to reflect plan revisions and monthly changes.
Produce a Bill of Materials used to estimate material takeoffs.
Miscellaneous

Complete special projects as requested.
Complete lot fits as requested.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
Requires at least 2 years of drafting experience.
The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Demonstrated computer skills including advanced knowledge of AutoDesk Revit and a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. AutoCAD/AutoCAD Architecture a plus.
