Media Entertainment Client is seeking a Media Management Associate for a 24 month contract in Burbank, CA!

24 month contract

$40/hr W2

Role Overview

The Media Management Associate will be part of the Entertainment Television Marketing Operations Team, which collaborates with creative content and marketing teams to produce high-quality marketing content globally. The team uses advanced software and tools to manage asset and media operations, ensuring efficient workflow for thousands of marketing campaigns across various platforms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain partnerships with content providers.
  • Media Acquisition: Acquire show deliverables and handle ad hoc requests.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to file delivery and formatting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing creatives on media priorities.
  • Content Distribution: Distribute media to vendors and other partners.
  • Media Management: Maintain the media library and oversee media security and retention.
  • Live Feed Coordination: Capture live feeds and off-air recordings.
  • Documentation: Provide show documents to marketing and update metadata in the internal database.
  • Restrictions Management: Track and communicate content restrictions.
  • User Management: Onboard external users on media platforms.
  • 3rd Party Footage: Acquire necessary third-party footage for marketing use.
  • Coverage: Provide support when other media managers are unavailable.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the television post-production process.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Qualifications

  • Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for technical specifications.
  • Experience: Candidates should have a diverse background with an understanding of video editing and database software.
  • Detail Orientation: Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Attitude: Positive, autonomous, and a team player.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort using MAC systems is required.
  • Video: Editing and database software

Work schedule is Monday to Friday 9:30a-6:30p and at present team works hybrid but there is expectation to return to office 4 days a week and 1 day remote at some point in the future

Potential for overtime

Contract - little chance of conversion
