Job Title: IT Support Technician II

Type: Contract (5 - 7 Months)

Location: Boardman, OR (On-site)

Pay: $35 to $38 per hour DOE and Education

Cannot work C2C or with 3rd parties

Must be authorized to work in US- No sponsorship

Overview:

The IT Support Technician II provides technical support to resolve software and hardware related issue for workstations, laptops, scan guns, and peripheral equipment. This position reports to the IT Service Delivery Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

· Be a first and second level escalation point of contact for the IT Service Desk which includes advanced troubleshooting and end-user support, extensively working in coordination across IT teams to support the Enterprise structure, analyze problems and implement resolutions, and provide cross training to helpdesk staff to improve the first call resolution rate. Interface with customers to research, resolve, and respond to highly complex questions in accordance with current standards amp; practices.

· Responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of workstations, laptops, scan guns, and peripherals including all hardware, software, UPSs, printers, and copiers.

· This position also maintains documentation for software and workstation configurations, network and hardware maintenance records, and tracks IT inventory, and assists in the implementation of user training

· Conducts end user training on capabilities associated with new equipment or software as needed. Meets with new desktop users to provide baseline training for access to systems and technology. Assists customers in the use of Enterprise programs and services

Required Experience:

· Demonstrated experience providing software and hardware maintenance and support with a multi-site environment is required.

· Minimum 5 year strong skills with Microsoft products experience in an IT support role is required

· Minimum of 2 years' experience in a business environment that is PCI, SOX and GAP compliant.

· The ability to think critically to solve customer issues required.

· Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCITP-E Servers) a plus.

· Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Management preferred; technical training with significant related experience can be substituted for a degree.

Other:

· Weekend and evening work and response to after-hours emergency calls will be required. Occasional travel between sites will be necessary.
