Level 1 Field Support Technician

Location: Tustin, CA
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $23-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated and technically savvy Level 1 Field Support Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft hardware and software, with relevant certifications or formal education are ideal. This role involves traveling to various client sites within the Tustin area, providing essential break/fix support, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site desktop support for clients, primarily healthcare-related offices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity tests.
• Build, configure, and deploy laptops and workstations as needed.
• Document support activities, including issue resolution and client interactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft hardware and software, including Windows OS.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) or formal education in IT.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues independently.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Tustin area.
• Previous experience in desktop support or related IT role preferred.
