Company Overview:
We are seeking a contractor for the Director of Partnership Marketing role. In this position, you will oversee editorial and paid marketing efforts across devices and manage marketing partner campaigns with key wholesale, enterprise, and distribution partners. Your focus will be on leveraging the brand, content, and promotional offers to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Implementation:
    Implement overarching partnerships strategy across device, wholesale, and enterprise partners, outlining strategic priorities and business plans to achieve subscriber growth, engagement, and awareness.
  • Roadmap Management:
    Manage the strategic roadmap across all partners, including key milestones, performance benchmarks, and pathways to campaign optimization.
  • Paid Media Oversight:
    Oversee paid media for the devices channel, including connected TVs, gaming consoles, and DMVPDs. Develop channel strategy and lead planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of subscriber acquisition and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Partner Relationship Management:
    Lead strategic relationships with paid device partners and serve as the primary liaison to the agency of record, ensuring alignment between campaign strategy and devices channel approach.
  • Team Management:
    Manage the paid device marketing team responsible for day-to-day interactions with partners and campaign execution.
  • Collaboration:
    Collaborate with Strategic Growth and Ad Ops teams to build a roadmap for optimizing audience creation, campaign tracking, and data orchestration.
  • Partnerships Team Oversight:
    Manage the strategic partnerships team responsible for day-to-day interactions with wholesale, enterprise, and editorial/earned device partners, ensuring compliance with marketing agreements.
  • Marketing Liaison:
    Act as the primary marketing liaison to Platform Distribution, Business Development, and Disney+ device teams, representing Hulu's marketing interests in negotiations.
  • Campaign Activation:
    Own partnership marketing approaches and identify opportunities for campaign activations.
  • Quarterly Reviews:
    Manage quarterly business reviews and implement long-lead planning processes to unlock opportunities for Hulu's participation in partner betas and product launches.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Partnership Marketing, Media, or general management/marketing at a consumer-facing brand.
  • Proven track record in partner marketing with the ability to construct mutually beneficial opportunities.
  • Experience with Google stack (DV360, SA360, DCM).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Datorama, Liveramp CDP, AppsFlyer, Tealium, Neustar, DoubleVerify, and major social media platforms.
  • Understanding of GDPR and CCPA as they relate to media buying.
  • Experience in A/B testing, incrementality testing, and dynamic creative optimization.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • 4+ years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in Entertainment Partner Marketing, particularly in campaign building.
