Closing Specialist
Duration: 12 months, Contract, W-2
Pay: $20 - $23 an hour
Remote - M-F (10am - 7pm PST or CST)
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the entire real estate closing process, including compliance with, lender instructions, balancing closing instructions, communication with the lender, title requirements, company requirements and other written instructions
- Balance, schedule, compile closing documents with lender and title packages
- Understands how own team integrates with related teams to accomplish objectives
- Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team through own work
- Recognizes and solves atypical problems that occur infrequently
- Evaluates and selects solutions from existing precedents or procedures
- Communicates and explains complex information, including interdependencies within the team and others
- Works under limited supervision, exercises time management, while meeting the goals and task assigned of all integrated workflow from the lender in a timely manner.
- Individual contributor acting as a resource for less experienced team members; does not have supervisory responsibilities
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Mandatory Skills:
- Closing experience with a Title Company or previous mortgage/title industry experience
- Experience in a multi-state operation
- Experience in managing a pipeline of transactions
- Strong Word and Excel Experience
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a high level of customer service through proactive communication with customers and business partners in a High volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with borrowers, partners, and third parties
- Proven track record of strong quality and productivity
