Your role is pivotal in crafting a robust security architecture that shields our critical infrastructure from vulnerabilities and deploying advanced countermeasures. Key Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Architecture: Design and implement cutting-edge security solutions that ensure our network and data remain invulnerable. Create and maintain comprehensive security diagrams and documentation.
- Tech Integration: Evaluate and integrate innovative technologies to enhance our security posture, ensuring we're always one step ahead of potential threats.
- Penetration Testing & Risk Assessment: Lead and participate in penetration testing and risk assessments, swiftly addressing any vulnerabilities uncovered.
- System Audits: Conduct rigorous audits of enterprise systems to maintain alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Automation & Management: Oversee and automate patch management processes to ensure timely updates. Manage all security-related systems and appliances with precision.
- Incident Response: Identify and resolve security incidents promptly, collaborating seamlessly with IT teams to maintain operational integrity.
- Cloud Security: Architect secure cloud-based solutions and ensure compliance with data classification and protection standards like HIPAA and PCI.
- Data Protection: Implement and manage data loss prevention strategies, including email encryption and protections against data exfiltration.
- Security Awareness: Drive organization-wide security awareness training and mentor junior engineers to elevate the overall security competency of the team.
- Business Continuity: Develop and maintain a comprehensive Cyber Security Recovery Plan, including business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications
- Certifications: Hold security-related IT certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, or Azure Security.
- Education: BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or a proven combination of education and experience.
- Experience:
- 7+ years with IDS, IPS, Endpoint Protection tools, Next-Generation Firewalls, and SDWAN appliances.
- 7+ years of scripting experience with batch file scripting and PowerShell.
- Extensive experience with Linux Operating Systems and various security platforms, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
- Skills:
- Deep passion for security and a knack for identifying and mitigating threats.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to teach and convey technical concepts to users with varying levels of expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
