Ledgent Technology has once again partnered with a key employer in the Portland market for their open Help Desk position!!
Essential Responsibilities & Duties Summary:
- Resolve Level I and Level II trouble tickets
- Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network
- Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
- Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process
- Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
- Resolve print, network and connectivity issues
- Interface with infrastructure, database, and development personnel
- Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
- Make regular changes in both Active Directory and Office 365 environments
- Perform all other job duties as assigned
Education and /or Experience:- The qualified employee ideally will have 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Looking to train someone, so apply if you have some relevant IT/Customer Service Experience!
Qualifications Requirements:- 3+ years of IT Help Desk related experience.
- Preferred an associate degree or higher in Computer Information Systems
- Preferred: CompTia A+ certificate or at least one Microsoft MCP certificate
- Excellent written/ verbal communication as well as presentation skills at all levels
- High energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Windows desktop, Mac OS, and Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory maintenance and Exchange
- Knowledge of Mac and PC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
- Experience with Client PC connectivity - Ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN
- Knowledge of and experience working with virtualization (VMWare) is preferred.
- File server knowledge
- Experience with desktop security products
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- 2 years+ experience working in a Windows/Mac environment.
