Role: ERP/HCM Project Analyst

Location: REMOTE - occasional travel to San Diego/Los Angeles

Hourly Rate: $43-$46/hr.

Contract Duration: 3+ years

Role Overview:

The Functional Lead will manage key functional areas within the project, ensuring that each component meets both business and technical requirements for the payroll system modernization. They will work closely with clients on business process reengineering and requirements analysis, ensuring the successful delivery of functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead specific workstreams in areas such as ACA, Annual Payroll, Position Control, and Warrant Reconciliation.
  • Organize, facilitate, and collaborate with clients on business process reengineering efforts.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and ensure successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure the proper implementation of the solution.
  • Perform detailed analysis to support and manage business rules and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience in business analysis and lead experience organizing, facilitating, and working with clients on business process reengineering and requirements analysis.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects, with at least three (3) years of that experience in business systems analysis and design.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Project Management and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Must have current certification in Lean Six Sigma or an equivalent certification.

Certification Requirements:

  • Actively certified in at least one (1) of the following:
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Actively certified in at least one (1) of the following:
    • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) Certification, or
    • Certified Software Tester.
  • Must hold active certification in at least one (1) of the following from an industry-recognized organization:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), or
    • Program Management Institute (PMI) Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA®) Certification.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working on large-scale government projects is highly desirable.
  • Experience within ERP HCM implementations in Oracle or Workday

Requirements:

  • Must be West Coast (Pacific Time)-based and available for travel to California for periodic meetings.
  • Candidates must provide references covering their years of experience in similar roles.
  • Copies of diplomas and certifications must be included in the application for compliance.
