Job Description

Ledgent Technology is seeking an IT Support and Services Supervisor to oversee systems administration and the service desk.

This is a full-time ONSITE position located in Boca Raton, FLNo remote work allowed
 **All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.**


  1. Problem Management: Accountable for the end-to-end Problem Management process, including people, processes, and technology.
  2. Performance Metrics: Collect and report IT performance metrics and key performance indicators.
  3. Process Improvement: Maintain, train, and continuously improve IT processes, standards, and tools, ensuring compliance with governance.
  4. Service Desk Oversight: Oversee the service desk system, ensuring the accurate and timely closure of requests.
  5. Leadership: Set staff goals, define technology priorities, develop strategies for managing/scaling the organization's system administration, and provide technical guidance/mentoring.
  6. Communication: Act as a liaison with end-users and colleagues and communicate progress on priorities to management and the team.
  7. Asset Management: Manage existing IT assets and provide input in procuring new IT-related assets.
  8. Policy Development: Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  9. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with users and business teams to define business and system requirements for new technology implementations.
  10. IT Applications: Oversee the evaluation, installation, validation, configuration, and support of IT applications and tools.
  11. Data Management: Responsible for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for business applications and users.
  12. SOP Maintenance: Maintain IT SOPs and guidelines.
  13. Support and Audits: Extend IT support to all external/internal audits, visitors, and clients.
  14. System Updates: Ensure computer equipment, hardware, and software are updated to meet the company's needs.
  15. Change Control: Document and implement change controls and perform validation for IT systems.
  16. Deviation Handling: Perform investigations and provide corrective and preventive actions for IT deviations with an impact.
  17. Policy and Goal Setting: Implement and maintain policies and goals that support technology needs.
  18. System Functionality: Ensure proper functionality of IT systems and oversee necessary upgrades for administrative and operational environments.
  19. Efficiency Improvement: Collaborate with various business operations groups to utilize information systems and improve efficiency.
  20. Documentation: Produce the necessary documentation, guidelines, and procedures for the company's systems and network infrastructure.

  • Degree in related field
  • 3 - 5 years in a relevant technical role
  • Virtualized and physical multi-platform environments: (Citrix, Linux, Windows Server)
  • Network Architecture/Administration of Network Infrastructure: (Cisco Switches & Routers, Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls)
  • Enterprise storage solutions: (SAN, NAS, cloud storage)
  • Cloud-based infrastructure and environments: (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
  • Backup & Recovery systems: (Veeam Backup & Replication, Symantec BackupExec)
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Microsoft Office 365 administrat
