Ledgent Technology is seeking an experienced Palo Alto Network Security Engineer on behalf of our client in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining the Palo Alto suite of security products, ensuring the security and robustness of the network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, support, and maintain the Palo Alto suite of security products.
Design, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance security infrastructure to ensure robust protection.
Proactively review and maintain network security infrastructure to prevent vulnerabilities.
Provide 24/7 support and effective troubleshooting during production outages to ensure minimal downtime.
Manage security-related projects from initiation through completion.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Annual Penetration Testing Reports, Intrusion Reports, and Security Audit Review Reports.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience with installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances.
Palo Alto Network Certification is required.
CCNP certification is required.
Familiarity with Data Centre environments and cloud-hosted deployments.
Strong knowledge of encryption techniques, vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection and prevention, and securing external access to web applications.
Experience with penetration testing, VPN/SSL technologies, and Splunk integration.
Disaster Recovery experience.
