Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Provides technical support for process fouling issues, systems design and engineering, and process optimization. The position will report to the Director of Technology at the Corporate Offices located in the Downtown area of Houston, TX. About 15% travel anticipated.

JOB DUTIES
* Participate in technical team selling through direct customer interface via discussions and presentations.
* Regularly contribute to the companies technical understanding in the refining and petrochemical industry.
* Assist with market feedback on product and system performance.
* On-site troubleshooting with customers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
S Engineering or Natural Sciences. Refinery or catalyst industry experience is desirable.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in the use of personal computer and MS Windows and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Programming skills and familiarity with multiple programming languages is strongly favored.
Requires occasional lifting of material(s) up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods of time, climbing, stooping, & bending.
Also requires occasional work in hot / humid environments as well as cold environments with some exposure to extreme weather conditions.
Must be willing to wear required, plant safety apparel and adhere to all internal and external plant safety guidelines and procedures.
