Role: Junior IT Support Specialist
Salary Range: $22-28 per hour (actual pay within this range depends on experience)
Type: Contract-to-hire (High probability of conversion targeted around ~6 months) - BENEFITS offered (See below)
Schedule: Fully Onsite - 7-4pm MT Mon-Fri
Location: South Denver, CO
We are partnered with a leading organization seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to join their growing team.
About the Role:
You will provide support to users across the globe in a Microsoft Windows user environment. You should have mid-level Microsoft Office and Windows 10 troubleshooting and resolution skills and exceptional customer service skills.
We are open to candidates with call center troubleshooting experience ready to move to in-person support, and looking to later grow skills in VMware and Server support. You should be comfortable working with global users.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, with a four-year IT degree being preferred.
- 1+ year of experience supporting Windows 10, Office 365 and Office 2019 including Excel, Power Point, & Word.
- 1+ year of experience with laptop troubleshooting and maintenance/repair of hardware such as hard drive, memory, etc.
- Knowledge of IP networks; Ability to troubleshoot related issues up to, but not including, network switches.
- Familiar with managing & administering virtual machines
- Strong communication and ability to communicate with nontechnical users; Comfortability supporting users in different countries
- Ability to prioritize and manage resolutions to completion, escalating those that are above their knowledge.
- Desire to learn new skills, especially in Server and VMware Support
- Ability to learn new software & technologies quickly
