Job Description
Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Denver, CO or San Francisco, CA
Type: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week)
Travel: 10-20%
Compensation: $160,000-185,000 base + bonus (actual pay within this range depends on experience)
Summarized Responsibilities
- Define, develop, & maintain the organization's overall IT & OT architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives & industry best practices.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop & implement IT & OT strategies that support the organization's goals.
- Evaluate, select, & implement appropriate IT & OT solutions, ensuring they align with the overall architecture & meet business requirements.
- Develop & maintain IT & OT standards, policies, & procedures, & enforce them throughout the organization.
- Stay current with the latest IT & OT trends & technologies & make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, & industry experts.
- Coordinate all Enterprise Architecture & governance activities, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture & regulatory requirements.
- Review application & infrastructure architecture & guide delivery teams on security, capacity planning, & operations.
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, focusing on technology infrastructure & applications. Data center experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with established architecture principles & methodologies like TOGAF, Zachman, & FEAF.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC, & NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Additional experience in ITIL, DevOps, & Agile methodologies is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of IT & OT technologies, such as virtualization, cloud computing, database design, APIs, network infrastructure, AI/ML, cybersecurity, & SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools & frameworks like Sparx Enterprise Architect & ArchiMate.
- Preferred knowledge of technology solutions such as SCADA, BMS-Niagara, EPMS, DCIM-Modius Open data, PagerDuty, Procore, Bluebeam, NetSuite CRM/ERP, Paycor HCM, Microsoft technologies, & Azure & AWS cloud APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, & decision-making skills for complex IT & OT problems, along with developing effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership & communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams & senior management.
- Project management abilities to handle multiple projects & priorities simultaneously.
- Effective verbal & written communication skills, including presenting & facilitating workshops & seminars.
