Title: Network Engineer

Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 + biannual bonuses

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and performance of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and communications systems
- Troubleshoot issues withing the network and server architecture and provide solutions for preventing future performance issues
- Establish and define procedures and best practices for maintaining the network infrastructure
- Manage and administer Linux and Windows servers including Microsoft solutions Active Directory/LDAP and Office 365
- Manage and update VoIP Solutions
- Implement, configure, and maintain network security solutions and firewalls
- Help maintain and manager virtualized servers (VMware)
- Assisted with managing Warehouse Management and Freight Management systems
- Oversee helpdesk ticketing system and provide tier III support for escalated tickets
- Collaborate with project management team to ensure deliverables of network and systems
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related fields (preferred)
- Multiple years of experience working in a Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer role
- In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures and network technologies
- Experience implementing, configuring, and maintain network hardware (Cisco, Aruba, HP)
- Experience with configuring, managing, and maintaining VoIP systems (FortiForce)
- Knowledge of network firewalls (FotiGate)
- Experience managing and administer Microsoft & Windows solutions (Active Directory, Office 365)
- Experience administering & maintaining Windows and Linux servers
- Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMware/vSphere/vCenter)
- Experience managing helpdesk/service desk ticketing systems (Jira Service Desk - Preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of fundamental network protocols (TCP/IP, NTP, DNS, Ethernet, IP addressing, LAN/WAN)
- Understanding of advanced network concepts (LDAP, VPN, IDs, IPS, SIEM)
- Familiarity with network security best practices
Bonus Qualifications:- Prior experience working in the Logistics, Freight, or Supply Chain industry
- Familiarity with ERP, Freight Management Systems (CargoWise), and Warehouse Management Systems
- Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ect.
