Job Description
We are partnering with a Global IT MSP company in Irvine, CA hiring a Senior Service Desk Technician for a 12 months' contract position to start immediately. This will be a 100% on site position, W2 with benefits!
Job Responsibilities:
- Executive support
- Training, coaching and assisting less experienced team members.
- PC hardware imaging, PC end user setup and PC network connectivity.
- Resolving help ticket service requests locally.
- Troubleshooting technical and non-technical issues.
- Data center hardware, network and telephony support.
- System backups and offsite storage management.
- MFA token setup.
- Mobile phone distribution and support.
- Hardware shipment receiving and distribution.
- Hardware troubleshooting.
- Hardware inventory.
- Network troubleshooting - network ports, ethernet cables.
- Software troubleshootingResponsibilities: Prioritize incident and service request.
- Troubleshooting PC related issues and addressing cyber security request.
- Support onsite customer visits with network connectivity and printing as needed.
- Ensure backups are completed successfully and offsite Iron Mountain storage.
- Virtual hardware, network and telephony support as needed.
- Support printer issues, wireless connectivity and conference room projectors.
Qualifications:- 5 or more years' experience in end user computing support required.
- Associate degree or higher in IT required. HS diploma required.
- Previous enterprise level experience
- Previous executive support experienceSolid understanding of:Microsoft OS 7 & 10, Microsoft Office 2010, 2016 and Office 365.
- Microsoft Exchange 2013, Lync and Skype for Business.
- MAC and iOS
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- PC imaging and Microsoft OS/Office upgrades.
- PC cyber security software solutions.
- Remote PC connectivity solutions and remote desktop support.
- Active directory pertaining to user account creation, security and distribution groups.
- Previous experience with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.
- Mobile device setup and configuration.
- Conference room projectors and flat screen connectivity.
- Backup software and tape library hardware troubleshooting.
