IT Director Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire Workplace Type: Onsite + 10-25% Travel Industry: Machinery Manufacturing Compensation: $145-175,000 + 36% annual bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Matching, PTO, Sick Pay, Vacation Pay Responsibilities: Provide oversight to existing enterprise applications and implement/deploy new applications & solutions Lead & mange Help Desk and Systems Administrator teams Develop & define technical requirements, processes, budgets, and schedule for technology projects & initiatives Build relationships with and manage IT Vendors Collaborate with Department Heads & Stakeholders on to identify new technologies that will streamline business initiatives and how to appropriately integrate new technologies Act as the primary point of contact & liaison between corporate end-users, technical staff, and contractors Identify and develop training curriculum for corporate staff & end-users Hire, train, and mentor systems and help desk teams Manage all IT projects from conception to competition Define and mange help desk processes including escalation, prioritization, and SLAs Oversee the performance of technical platforms and business process for business systems, analytics, email, pone, file-sharing etc... Perform addition tasks & functions assigned by Upper Management & Stakeholders Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or other related field degrees (required) Several years of experience leading/directing/managing technical teams (require) Proven track record of successfully managing both small & large scale technology projects Experience leading migration, implementation, & integration projects Experience working with and manging relationships with IT Vendors Ability and willingness to work hands-on when needed Excellent customer service & leadership skills Ability to take initiative on high priority tasks and ensure projects are delivered on time Experience working and leading a team in fast-paced environment Comfortable working 5 days a week onsite and open to traveling 10-25% of the time to various corporate locations across the United States Desired Technical Skills: Deep understanding of networking technologies, LAN/WAN & SDWAN infrastructures, and VOIP communication systems Familiarity with of remote access technologies (LogMeIn, TeamViewer, ect) In-depth knowledge of ERP solutions (required) and knowledge of Dealer Management Systems in the construction, agricultural, or logistics industry (plus) Expeirence managing SaaS and PaaS solutions Understanding of electronic mail communication security & routing protocols (whitelist, blacklist, SMTP relays, authentications, archiving) Expeirence managing Google Workspace and/or Office365 Well-versed with service/help desk ticketing systems (Zendesk, JIRA, Fresh Desk, or ServiceNow) Knowledgeable of virtualized infrastructures & cloud services providers (Azure or AWS) Familiarity with Network Security, Cyber Security, and Cloud Security best practices. Certification in these fields are a big plus! Knowledge of Wireless Networks and affiliated technologies Expeirence managing Fiber & Fixed wireless outages Knowledge of Active Directory management & administrations (plus) Knowledge of SQL administration (plus) Understanding of BI and Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, DOMO, & Tableau (Plus)
