Job Description

We are looking for a Field Tech to start immediately. This is a 100% on site position, office is in San Clemente, but you will be driving to clients' site providing field tech support. 

This is a direct hire position with full benefits. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and support various types of payment terminals: ATMs, Point of Sale, Loyalty kiosk, redemption kiosks, etc.
  • Assembly, bench testing and preventive maintenance of payment terminals deployed in the field.
  • Warehouse duties including quality control, shipping & receiving and repairs of payment devices, components, ATMs and various kiosks
  • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware installations: operating systems, clients, and servers, networking equipment and wireless networks.
  • General warehouse tasks and duties including maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Travel- up to 25% may be required. Majority is all done in Southern California.
  • Although experience in the payment industry is nice to have, it is not required as we will train for this position.

Technical Skills (Nice to Have, Not Required):
  • Knowledge of current computer technology and applications (Windows operating systems, applications, devices, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the basic understanding of TCP/IP Network Support
  • Payment industry experience is preferred, but not required. We will train for this position.
  • Possesses problem solving capabilities.
  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach and professional with customers
  • H.S. diploma or GED
  • Clean DMV driving record mandatory
  • Background and criminal record check
  • Position requires that you pass a Department of Transportation screening and be issued a DOT Medical Certification
  • Weekly work shifts will vary, although typically Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm and may require travel around Southern California.
  • Weekend hours will be required (typically on-call).
