Ledgent Technology is partnering with a digital marketing industry leader to search for a Software Engineer II. This position will be responsible for developing and assisting in product design that helps support the business initiatives. The Software Engineer II is also involved in configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.  

This position can sit 100% remote. Candidates must be in a Central Time Zone.


  • Perform software design responsibilities
  • Debug complex implementations issues
  • Help create/implement software test plans to ensure the design meets the necessary specifications
  • Collaborate with other software engineers, technical project managers, business analysts and QA on project initiatives
  • Provide software support for new and released products to customers.
  • Work with management regarding software requirements and project status.
  • Degree in IT or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience with C# and ASP.NET along with skills in design, analysis, and software debugging
  • Knowledge of database design (SQL query) and data base support skills including use of SSMS
  • Experience with source control systems IE: GIT, including requesting code reviews
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision since this is 100% remote 
  • Experience with SSRS and SSIS is a plus
  • PHP experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of developing full-stack, cloud native applications and systems including microservice architecture
