Job Description

Ledgent Technology is searching for an Infrastructure Admin to join our customer in the Twin Cities area. This is a 3-6 month contract position (possibility of extension or perm conversion) that will be mostly on site in Minneapolis (near the University of Minnesota Twin Cities). The pay will be up to $62/hr.

Role Summary: The role involves implementing and supporting company technologies, maintaining system integrity, and providing high-level support for various IT roles. Responsibilities include incident resolution, system monitoring, and problem analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Support:

• Oversee maintenance, configuration, and integrity of all company systems.
• Lead the support team, prioritizing work and addressing complex technical issues.
• Provide organizational support across all departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT systems such as Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL, and business applications.

User Support:

• Provide detailed technical information to users and analyze complex end-user issues.
• Collaborate with users to develop complex system or network solutions.
• Available for 24/7 support and on-call duties.

General Responsibilities:

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, fostering a cooperative work environment.
• Manage time effectively to meet personal and team goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any safety issues to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in IT infrastructure or network support.

Computer and Software Skills:

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Intermediate proficiency in PowerShell is desired.
• Knowledge of client-server and internet systems architectures.
• Understanding of standards and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

• Over three years of experience with enterprise-level infrastructure.
• Certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco.

Travel Requirement:

• Less than 10%.
