Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter - Electrical Design
Job Location: Orange County, CA
Job Type: Temp-to-hire; 100% onsite
Salary Range: $37 - $45 per hour
Number of Openings: 2

Duties:

• You will be expected from day 1 to be able to operate in this toolset to produce project deliverables for low voltage PLC control panels, under the direction of engineering guidance.
• Meet or exceed annual billable target
• Perform all work in accordance with company engineering practices and quality methodologies
• Critical thinking, clearly articulating wider impacts of technical decisions
• Maintain and develop tools for work efficiency and production improvements
• Proactively, clearly, and routinely communicate with team members and managers
• Disciplined using our methodology yielding industry leading quality and reliability
• Execute projects that meet expectations and are within project scope and budget
• Provide technical mentorship, training, and support to other team members

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree or verifiable technical training, preferably from vocational school
• 5+ years of industry related experience in Automation or Control drafting. Along with design experience is preferred.
• AutoCAD Electrical training, familiarity, and experience is required.
• Preferred experience with ePlan design software.
• Excellent planning and organization habits, consistent follow through
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Process control and/or automation experience is preferred
