Position: Software Product Manager, Consumer Electronics

Job Responsibilities:

The primary function of this role will focus on software-defined design of consumer electronics products.

  • Responsible for software management for consumer electronics products, including mobile applications and cloud functions, such as managing the entire life cycle of functions, from conception, definition, design, development to release, and subsequent continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed and analyze industry trends, competitor products and emerging technologies to drive product feature innovation.
  • Monitor key product indicators, collect user experience feedback in the market, and formulate functional iteration plans to optimize user experience.
  • Address functional feedback of product beta testing and media evaluation, record and follow up on product requirements and solutions.
  • Docking third-party partners, responsible for overseas software business cooperation.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and feedback of product comparison within the competitive landscape and local market.
  • Cooperate with the design department to ensure that the design conforms to the usage habits of local users.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree or above in related fields
  • Two or more years of working experience as a software product manager with experience in consumer electronics product software (strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a consumer-facing mobile app or web platform. Must have work experience independently designing large-scale software products or their core functional modules.
  • Excellent user insight and ability to understand business, highly sensitive to user experience, full of innovative and challenging spirit.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to drive alignment and execution from a team, both in person and in collaborating with remote team members
  • Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and improve.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a background in consumer electronics education or relevant software work experience.
  • Experience using smart home products, with a profound understanding of the concept of smart homes changing lifestyles.
