Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute the overall Quality plan needed for our Enterprise applications.
  • Act as active member for designing, developing and maintaining automation test cases for ensuring high quality in our products.
  • Actively replace manual testing with test automation based on test principles.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain highly effective test cases in a CI/CD environment to ensure solution can be delivered frequently, consistently, and reliably.
  • Continuously curate and enhance test case repository, automated tests, framework, and tool sets to meet best practices and standards.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, triage automation issues and document, investigate and communicate defects discovered during test execution.
  • Maintain close collaboration and effective communication with R&D team and other stakeholders; review feature requirements and develop test plans for products based on performance specifications.
  • Write automation scripts in Selenium, Java, JMeter, Python or Unix Shell
  • Contribute to process improvements and refinement of QA practices to deliver high quality product from release to release
  • Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for product and process related activities
  • Work with remote teams to manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Coach and mentor other team members and Quality Engineers
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Testing, building automated test solutions and worked in Agile development model
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Commitment to quality and high standards with close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting/problem solving skill
  • Experience in testing and automating APIs, UIs, and backend
  • Experience with UI and API automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, Python, Cucumber
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl and other related
  • Experience with CI/CD using GitLab pipelines
  • Experience working in an agile software development team using Scrum methodologies and Jira Software
  • Experience with application servers especially Wildfly/Tomcat
  • In depth knowledge of MS Windows Server, Windows 10 and Linus operating systems
  • Experience with black box and white box testing on web applications
  • Ability to learn, adopt quickly to new processes and tools
