Job Description

The NetSuite System Administrator works under minimal supervision providing the day-to-day administration of the NetSuite ERP and its ecosystem. The position is the primary internal contact for NetSuite users, project leads and 3rd-party solutions providers for all day-to-day activities in ERP. Key responsibilities include ensuring the NetSuite environment is functioning, providing timely communications, and coordinating activities between NetSuite developers, solution providers, and end-users.


  • Help administer and configure NetSuite components; create and maintain users, roles, permissions, perform updates, integration and configurations for forms and customers/contacts
  • Partner with business stakeholders to optimize NetSuite to meet business needs, including fields, page layouts, saved searches, workflows and approvals
  • Offer recommendations for improvement and implementation of new processes, including NetSuite projects that will simplify and automate existing processes
  • Work with IT and third-party vendors to integrate new systems into the platform if needed
  • Articulate and document needed customization, reports and capabilities
  • Provide training and ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integration
  • Test, document, and deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools, and new system functionality based on evolving business needs
  • Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting
  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in a related position with NetSuite ERP administration
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification and/or NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification preferred
  • Strong experience in evaluating, using, and/or managing cloud-based applications and services
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Power user/admin skills in NetSuite OneWorld or Mid-Market Financials
  • Administrator level knowledge of roles, permissions, custom objects, saved searches, workflows, reports, and dashboards
  • Broad business and/or technical work experience
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into executive friendly terms
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize multiple requests
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including an ability to articulate ideas clearly and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong task management skills
