Job Function Summary:
Analyzes Supply Chain Information Systems data. Develops reports. Develops and coordinates implementation of new systems and processes and enhancement of existing systems. Coordinates functional changes across the end-to-end supply chain system profile, including PeopleSoft, Coupa, Maximo and other various integrations. Collaborates with IT technical administrators to ensure changes are thoroughly and properly developed, tested, documented and moved to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain System Administration Provides authoritative advice and guidance on all automated procurement, inventory and material management policies and processes; develops elaborate and the most complex software system tools, programs, and processes to improve the quality, quantity and organization of source-to-contract and procure-to-pay data.
  • Supply Chain System Operation Oversees the creation, management and running of reports and queries regarding system operations; ensures data on metrics is maintained and provided to stakeholders.
  • Internal Collaboration As a recognized authority on application and operation of the end-to-end supply chain system, facilitates a collaborative relationship between Supply Chain and IT; oversees the maintaining of the system, repair of system issues, and development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
  • System Evaluation and Enhancements Provides authoritative advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on new applications and system requirements; oversees evaluation of new IT developments and evolving business requirements and determines appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems; leads development of test plans in collaboration with IT and final system acceptance testing.
  • System Training and Presentations Oversees and ensures the quality of communications, presentations and training on system enhancements and/or alternatives; delivers presentations to executive level.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, eight or more years in supply chain management information systems or related field.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), and/or Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Functional Competencies
  • Advanced skills in using enterprise resource planning and asset management software. (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft, Maximo)
  • Advanced knowledge of the Coupa Business Spend Management solution.
  • Advanced knowledge of systems, techniques, and underlying management concepts for determining, regulating or controlling the level and flow of supply chain transactions through the end-to-end lifecycle.
  • Advanced skills in evaluating supply chain applications and system requirements in relation to business needs and control decisions.
