Certified Scrum Master
Compensation: $56/hour

The Scrum Master II serves as a coach, mentor and servant leader for one or more Scrum teams and helps coach and mentor other Scrum Masters. The Scrum Master II helps define the implementation of Scrum and ensures that the Scrum process is not disrupted from outside influences that will be detrimental to the team's ability to complete their work and assists the team in removing impediments. The Scrum Master II helps facilitate vital communication and collaboration between Scrum teams (through a Scrum of Scrums) and ensures close collaboration between the product owner and Scrum team on requirements, priorities and continuous process improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for scheduling and facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily stand up, spring planning, backlog refinement, sprint demo, retrospective).
* Lead Agile teams through the process of becoming self-organized and empowered, to determine best way to get the work done (continued process improvement).
* Assist, as needed, with clearing obstacles identified by the team and/or guiding team to the right process or resource to clear the impediment.
* Oversee Scrum process and ensure Scrum team is not adversely impacted by outside influences (i.e., work requests that are not part of the team's backlog).
* Prepare metrics to communicate Agile team maturity, velocity trends, burndown rate, etc.
* Coordinate ongoing Agile-related training.
* Coordinate Scrum-of-Scrums on a regular cadence to ensure collaboration and communication between all Scrum teams.
* Assist the ongoing development and implementation of our client's Agile Center of Excellence.
* Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
* Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
* Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
* May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
* Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the corporate culture in all actions and words.
* Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.
