Senior Programmer Analyst

Ledgent Technology has partnered with one of the world's leading photonics manufacturers and innovators in their search for a Senior Programmer Analyst.

Compensation: $105k
Industry: Technology/Semiconductor
Location: Oregon
Duration: Direct Hire

Responsibilities: 
*Work closely with business users in delivering high-quality application solutions that meet the business requirement. 
*Write detailed technical design documents before building application solutions for the business requirements. 
*Code, test, debug, and document more complex programs, and enhance existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user needs. 
*Provide guidance and training to less-experienced programmers in order to improve productivity and efficiencies. 
*Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues. 
*Analyze and resolve help desk tickets that are opened by business users.

Education/Work Experience:

*Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
*8+ years of programming experience. 
*Prefer experience, training or knowledge of various software development methodologies
*Experience in Technical Project Management and working with remote teams. 
*Requires strong oral and written communication 
*Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
*Ability to manage stress and pressure inherent to application development, implementation, and support. 
*Able to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems in a production-controlled environment.
*Ability to work independently and as a team member 
*Experience with Visual Studio.net 2013 for programming in VB.net and C#. 
*Working knowledge of MVVM, EF, SOAP, OAUTH2.
*Experience designing and developing Rest API using WCF 
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform including Azure SQL DB, web services, app services, Front Door and API management. 
*Working knowledge of SQL Azure and developing Stored Procedure. 
*Experience in designing and optimizing a relational database in SQL Server. 
*Experience with Web Performance Test for load and stress testing a must.
*Experience in Team foundation Server or VSO (Visual Studio Online).
