Laboratory Tech

Duration - 6+ Months, Contract, W-2

Location - Irvine, CA

Max Pay - $26.80

Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to join innovative and early-stage development projects. This position will provide R&D support for process improvement and method development. The Engineer/scientist will partner with other R&D engineers/scientist both within the Tissue and Biotechnology Center of Excellence and across business units to improve the durability of our products.

Job Responsibilities:

* Independently perform experiments and tests based on protocols, analyze results, and write reports

* Provide support with instructions for sample preparation, data collection and other tasks

* Manage chemical and equipment inventories

* Prepare documentation including lab notebook and PowerPoint presentation

Skills:

* Prior experience using plate reader, microscope, or other instrumentation

* Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

* Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

* Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.

* Good organizational skills for time management and documentation

* Adaptability

Education/Experience:

* Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or science

* 1 + year of laboratory experience with biochemistry, chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering
