Location: Downtown Denver (parking paid for)

Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days per week, 1 work from home day

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise the compliance programs, policies, reporting and practices in support of Company Information Technology (IT) Policies and regulatory requirements.

· Enforce Information Security policy, standards and guidelines for Information and Operation Technology (IT/OT) implementations.

· Monitor privacy efforts, including Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in alignment with business and legal requirements and objectives.

· Identify and escalate compliance issues to the manager in a timely and detailed manner.

· Supervise IT Compliance audits and ongoing reviews of organizational controls, operating procedures and compliance with policies and regulations.

· Supervise the Security & Compliance Administrators in the performance of their duties including but not limited to the activities of the Change Advisory Board, software licensing purchasing activities, software compliance enforcement.

· Partner with the manager to coordinate IT SOX compliance efforts in alignment with business and legal requirements and objectives, including coordination with internal and external audit.

· Evaluate and monitor internal control processes, identifying risks and assist with implementing measures to mitigate those risks.

· Assist in the development or revision of security and compliance policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· This role will have supervisory level responsibilities over the team. Supervises two (2) or more Fulltime Employees regularly.

· Responsible for regularly making decisions and/or recommendations concerning:

o Interviewing/hiring.

o Mentoring/ongoing training.

o Setting or adjusting work hours.

o Plan, assign, and direct work.

o Appraise performance/productivity and efficiency.

o Recommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status.

o Handle complaints/grievances and disciplinary issues.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related from an accredited institution; OR at least five (5) years of related IT Compliance experience.

· At least three (3) years of related IT Compliance experience.

· Experience with IT systems, including operating systems, databases, applications and identity and access management.

· Experience in the implementation of IT application control testing related to SOX compliance.

· Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the user community, as well as IT groups, in verbal and written form.

· Strong working knowledge of IT policies, processes, procedures and standards.

· Strong understanding of best practices for SOX processes and controls.

· Ability to effectively supervise day to day work activities of direct reports.

· Manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

· Possess good analytical skills to be able to identify and mitigate adverse risk related situations.

· Plan and organize schedules in an efficient and productive manner.

Travel Requirements - 5%

· Minimal travel may be required to other locations.

· Approximate overnight travel is 5%.
