Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Maintain and manage the health of the SharePoint online environment 
  • Management of the following Sharepoint areas:  Security, Availability, and Performance 
  • Implementation and Management of security groups and policies 
  • Creation and Management of new/existing client SharePoint sites, sub-sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items) 
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint Online related issues when alerted by monitoring software or reported via service desk 
  • Administration, support and configuration of MS Office O365 for staff 
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for internal and external clients on SharePoint strategy 
  • Regularly evaluate support requests and identify areas where education, documentation, or communication can be utilized to improve the support process 
  • Identify common problems and service requests to develop a response strategy to improve the client  experience 
Core Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience 
  • Experience administering O365, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint environment 
  • Experience migrating On-Prem systems to SharePoint Online 
  • Experience gathering user requirements and translating into SharePoint technical solutions 
  • Ability to convey proposed solutions and complex information clearly, concisely and accurately to stakeholders and non-technical users 
  • Service desk experience and ability to provide technical and end-user support 
  • General knowledge of networking concepts including: Switching, Routing, IP, DNS 
  • 3-5 years of experience creating SharePoint Online Environments(examples required) 
  • 3+ Years of Powershell experience (preferred) 
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
