Our client, a world class, national employer in the Metro Area is seeking a Help desk/Desktop Support Technician to join their awesome team. If you are looking for a family oriented, culturally driven technical team, this is for you!!

You have the passion for supporting others! You are driven by customer service, with the ability to effectively satisfy internal customer support through multiple communication channels; support center, email, phones, trouble shoot computer and software issues, and be able to assist with special project. Responsible for customer support; assisting with all problems encountered with the daily use of software. 

Job Title: Helpdesk/Desktop Support Technician 
Compensation: DOE. 50-55K
Location: Metro Area
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 plus years end user support/help desk environment experience.
  • Has knowledgeable experience with customer service practices!
  • Provides technical support including; Service Desk system changes, User Access Resets, iSeries workstation Resets, Networking printing, iSeries printing.
  • Actively monitor ticket pool to assign help desk tickets in a responsive manner.
  • Communicate unsatisfied customers to the appropriate support group.
  • Utilize knowledge base as necessary in resolving tickets. Maintain or add knowledge base solutions for undocumented issues and resolutions, using clear and precise information.
  • Respond promptly to all requests for help desk (email, phone, help desk tickets) using effective communication skills.
