Top skills: 

  • Familarity with Legal Specific Software is NICE TO HAVE
  • Able to work under very little supervision, someone who is proactive in addressing performance issues, optimization of systems and hardware, and has experience in working independently 
  • Skilled in setting up conference room such as audio/visual equipments, cell phones, tablets, wifi fixing and configuration for official depositions, testimony, mocktrials, etc. 
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supporting various computer hardware and software
  • System setups, breakdowns and office moves
  • Performing troubleshooting for advanced issues - Level 2 and beyond
  • Assisting with managing software updates/patches/deployment
  • Managing user and Exchange accounts
  • Conference room/war room technology support
  • Audio/Visual systems support for reception area and high-tech courtroom
  • Assisting firm guests/clients with WiFi and printing
  • Creating and deploying images
  • Setting up local and networked printers/copiers
  • Supporting VOIP phone system
  • Supporting iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Proactively interacting and collaborating with CTO
  • Assisting CTO with IT projects that benefit the entire firm
  • Interacting directly with IT vendors for troubleshooting or projects
  • Available to work overtime, afterhours and on weekends when necessary
  • Travel to LA office once a week to support special projects/rollouts

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of general IT support experience in legal environment
  • Exceptional communication abilities to all levels of personnel
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Experience providing support in a Windows 7/10 environment
  • Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Office 2010 and 2016
  • Experience supporting remote access technology, like Terminal Server, VPN, and/or Citrix
  • Experience with Active Directory and Exchange Management Console
  • Basic familiarity managing switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Familiarity with legal-specific software including case management, transcripts, bates numbering PDFs (Acrobat, Nuance, etc.) and eDiscovery platforms
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift workstations, printers, servers, etc.
