Job Description

Job Duties*:


-Level 3 Help Desk Support
-Acts as front line support for all hardware and software issues.
-Documents incidents and resolutions.  Escalating incidents when necessary.
-Maintains users assignment, profile, access control in AD and VoIP System.
-Administers and supports Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
-Manages Windows Operating Systems, MAC OS X, and Linux.
-Assists in maintaining and monitoring common network and authentication protocols/ technologies such as TCP/IP, NAT, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory, NAS, NFS, etc.
-Assists in managing and monitoring hardware and software firewall.
-Manages hardware virtualization technologies and techniques.
-Maintains Endpoints security for server, desktops, mobile devices, and network.
-Manages backup policies, practices, and technologies.
-Assists in planning Disaster Recovery procedures and documentations.
-Supports a Microsoft Exchange organization in order to meet and maintain appropriate service levels.
-Assists Administrator in planning, testing, tuning, and configuration of Microsoft Exchanges architecture as well as supporting common email applications (Outlook, smart phone based email).
-Supports Sonicwall and Sonic Point infrastructure.
- Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.?
-Supports, maintains and administers Microsoft SQL Server
-Assists in maintaining Microsoft SQL Server.
-Performs any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:Must have:

- BS in Computer Science, Business Admin with MIS concentration
- Strong fundamental knowledge of computer science
- 4+? years help desk support experience.
- 2+ years system administration experience
- 1+? years VoIP phone system
-2+ years of administrating enterprise Windows environments
-2 years Experience in Sonicwall security appliance and wireless infrastructure
-Experience in TCP/IP networking knowledge including switching/routing
- Experience in the disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), backup systems.?
-Knowledgeable with networking security concepts (Routing, switching, VLANS, WIFI)
- Direct experience with the following: Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, Active Directory customization and Storage Appliances
-Knowledgeable with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics, VoIP phones, Cisco Networking
- Experience managing Microsoft server environments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strategic and forward thinking
- Ability to be proactive and work independently with limited direction
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with a fast paced and changing environment
-Ability to work flexible hours
-Familiar with ERP modules and enterprise accounting
